My future goals include coaching those educators in my and surrounding school districts in the art of educational technology use in classrooms and offices. I would like to expand the awareness of how and when technology use in assessments can provide valuable data at your fingertips to guide future lessons and strategies along with determining a students current skill level with a particular subject. I would like to discover what technologies are available in all aspects for students with disabilities and for students who are gifted. With so many programs and devices that are out there, I will research and provide options that are tailored fit for each individuals needs. My primary goal is to reach as many educators and administrators as I can to show and explain how educational technology can improve student engagement, learning, and raising student achievements.

 

         I will continue to improve my skills through research, PLN's, seminars and conferences. I will conduct a thorough research into the needs and wants of those who I will mentor. After conducting this research, I will then collaborate with my PLN's to gain additional insight into the research to determine any proven advantages or disadvantages before creating a specialized plan to help others. I will attend seminars and conferences to update the concepts I am aware of and to learn new ones. The conferences I want to attend will be in a hands on environment so I can see and understand what new technologies can do to improve my skills and those with whom I work with. With technology constantly improving and changing, I would like to be ahead of the curve so advances can be implemented and used before they are outdated.
